I see your silencer is going rusty at the end, on the top in a v shape, mine did that too.

Shad SH45 on a Forza
The topbox arrived yesterday. I ordered an SH45 from AJ Sutton, the UK distributor. Service was fantastic. Bought the box, bracket, back rest and white top panel and got a discount for the package, which arrived the next morning (with a free t-shirt). I'd never seen a Shad topbox before and I'm impr...

Re: Oil change light ?
My 2014 Honda Forza has about 12, 340 km on it now. When should I expect the oil change light to come on? I thought it would come on at 12,000 km but maybe it is 12,600 km or is it 12,000 km from whenever it was last reset? The bike is going into storage on Monday. The insurance runs out and I stil...

Re: Fitting the 08R70-K35-D00 Wind Shield
Cheers White Noise......Very interesting indeed. Ok, I got the fitting correct using the correct bolts, washers and nuts after a number of attempts. Although what I didn't do was move the mirrors. I have the mirror brackets and to be honest, had not idea what they were for......What is the reason f...

Could you rewire it at the fuse box to a permanent live?davenowherejones wrote:OK, throw that idea away.
Mind you, why do you want a battery tender? I've just restarted my Honda Vision after 3 months and it caught immediately.

It's called helicopter tape, and is available cheaply on eBay. I've got it all over the rub points of my bikes.

Best place to get plastic parts?.....
I'm just about to fit a topbox to my Forza. I intend on drilling the plastic insert, and would like to get a replacement one without holes in that I can fit when I remove the rack.
Is it a case of buying from a dealer or is there somewhere (possibly cheaper) online?
Thanks

Ebay sell waterproof cigarette lighter kits for motorbikes. You should have room on the plastics behind the screen to fit one. It's the wiring that will be fun.

Re: Extra 12 volt plug on a 2014 Forza 300
You can't close the door with a wire hanging out of it. Just thought that someone had rigged up a separate hook up outside of that box. My GPS is mounted in the middle of the handle bars. I know Honda sells a plug with a connector on it but does the Forza have a connector that matches that connecto...

My only concern is...will I get bored with it. I don't think so...but having never owned something so small, the thought has crossed my mind. But as others have mentioned, I do find it fun and sooo easy to ride. So easy in fact, I seemed to enjoy the scenery a bit more than I had in years. It will ...

Re: 600 Mile Service in Progress
The Honda tall screen is fantastic. I'm 5'9" and it's just the right height. Is it just me or does the windscreen put the wind to your back and give you a little speed boost regardless of which way the wind is blowing? I find that cruising at 70-75mph is much less labored with it installed. Co...

Re: MPG
What kind of mileage is everyone getting on their Forza? Mine just passed the 500 mile mark and I am seeing about 62mpg. 90% of my miles are on the freeway doing between 70 and 75mph. Not too bad but I admit I am missing the miserly economy of the PCX. I did about 60 miles last week on A roads, and...
