Re: RDQ: when selling a scooter

I think it all depends on your situation and how you size up the buyer. Everything I sell is put back to OEM and is pristine, and I price it to move,I don't care about a few dollars, I want it gone. So no, I usually don't allow a ride. Never been a prob. That being said, every situation is different.

Cars are for driving, not for wanking over.

Re: My other toy

Def my last car....LOL, I like fully paid for items that I can try diff things on, particularly detailing items that are new tech, stay tuned, I'll write them up here as I used them on the scooter. One is mind blowing for cleaning and protecting wheels, an all new way to keep them clean with no work...

Re: My other toy

Yup, and actually the vette was an instrumental part of getting the PCX. Seemed stupid to fire up 465 hp to go run around the neighborhood to hang with friends and neighbors. Others had golf carts, the pcx was my answer!

Re: My other toy

Thx, never owned a vette until this car, It's my only car and my daily driver, I don't believe in babying my toys, I use them, 13000 in the first year. . CQuartz is a DIY after polishing, I'll do a complete step by step on the PCX in about 10 days......should be about 3 hours start to finish with my...

Nobody uses an impact driver to tighten things… It's to loosen things ......you tighten things with the torque wrench

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX

I own both corded and cordless impact guns… The corded Dewalt is obviously much more heavy duty and can pull a lug off a wheel at 100 foot pounds. Whereas the craftsman cordless one will not, but is great for tightening a lug. I think it all depends on how tight that 17 MM is for the oil screen. And...

Re: Rear Shocks

Totally happy with my YSS shocks, then again I don't ask a lot of them. Only needed to adjust them once. May have to adjust them again soon as I'm losing weight, and that's where having the ability to adjust them comes in handy. May I ask what setting you have them on and what your weight is? I am ...

Re: Rear Shocks

I agree and have ordered the YSS as well, mostly as i want an adjustable preload and better looks. In the grand scheme of things, its an inexpensive and easy mod.

Re: Need noise

That light harness is a great idea, but realistically $30 is a lot of money for it. I could just tap into the headlight harness and take care of that problem, but I don't know where the harness has easy access, and connecting directly to the battery has a secondary advantage. If something happens w...

Re: Bought my PCX today

Thanks, I may not need the LEDs, but the manual shows some halogens.....I want the shocks I can preload, but not cast in stone, I have CNC capability so an adapter at the bottom may allow both up and down heights. Striping will be far more conservative and small , in black Mettallic. Fork LEDS DRL r...

Re: Need noise

There is a good solution to the lights on and off, it is a harness that we use to light up LEDs when driving, (DRL) avail on Amazon for cheap. It works like this: the harness connects directly to the battery and when the battery being charged (engine running)! it will light up the lights for a relay...
