Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

half second less between 19 and 18 grams - 0-100 km. May be 1 second difference with 17 grams, if the fuel efficency will be quite te same I try 17 grams solution. This is the best solution before to change variator I suppose
In italy many people speak very well about malossi variator

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

mario
18 dr pulley are better only in max speed or in accelleration too?
and 17 gr as many people suggest for honda forza, what do you think?
I need 8-9 seconds time in accelleration, max speed 140 km (like yours 19 grams are good for me).

grazie

mario
are you always satisfied with your dr pulley?
How is the accelleration now? less than 10 seconds? in what is different from the originale rollers?
What do you think about AUTISA variator I love the shape....do you think is better than dr pulley?

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

Mario you put me the flea in the ear, this variator look so nice but It's impossible for me to find review about adiva variator. I want to know if is better than j costa. In some specialized forum they didn't speak well about j costa, because isn't reliable. The other option is Dr pulley variator de...

mario me too.... it looks like jcosta... but yesterday the honda dealers told me that jcosta ripping the variator belt, polini and malossi are better.
This variator look very interesting but seems like jcosta and is spanish too. Do you have any review about this variator?

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

mario,
6 dr pulley are better than combo?
I hope you find the best solution with your test.
the important thing is riding fan, that means good accelleration and speed......
Now you try 19 gr sliders, but if you go down in slider with weight: 18-17-16 ecc grams, do you think will be better?

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

mario thank you for your video compare to your forza, my look look quite similar in acceleration from 0 to 120 km. The problem of my forza start at 120 km, it doesn't run anymore and the performance drops dramatically, infact my max speed is between 125-130 km!!!!. What a notice with stock rollers i...

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

Ed what do you thinK about this observation I found in a italian forum: ....... I recommend spraying the rollers and its tracks with spray PTFE (Svitol Dry, for example, but there are many types) before final assembly. This treatment significantly extends the life of the rollers (I had a lot of conf...

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

yes i'confused... but look at what Ed said about dr pulley slide: ..........I would only use the original 3 OEM Honda sliders, since every time I've used the DR Pulley sliders, they cracked and jammed up the variator, causing it to hang in one gear while shifting....this usually happened after sever...

Re: honda forza 300 - help from Italy!

mariomario after what Ed said to us, I finally decide to try your combination 19-16 grams.
If you don't use the 3 rollers and the 3 sliders you'll can send them to me and sharing the costs of purchase.
Rollers seem to be of good quality...

... let me know
