Thinking to try: 1 new variator, like J costa or malossi! 2 the new bred suggestion: 24x18 6 sliders but at the moment I don't know the right weight 19-17 grams?? About jcosta I like to know just using 12,5 grams pins how will be the...

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

Robert: the 24x18 sliders are probably going to be best for reducing rpm at top end... I think they'll be better for touring or commuting as opposed to drag racing or just raw acceleration. I might be wrong on that since all I've tested so far is 20G 2418 sliders.... I'm running identical mixed wei...

I'm telling you, if you want performance, lighter is better. My Malossi variator shipped with 12g weights for a reason.

what do you think about malossi variator for honda forza 300?

sendler2112 wrote:No need to change the variator on the Forza. All that is really needed to make a big performance gain are some 18 or 16 gm sliders for $30.

why not 17 grams?

I must inform you that we have not yet this variator ready. We are finishing the bell mold. As soon as it will be ready we will update on the website.......

Re: Tuning the Forza 300 CVT

Mario
so the 18 g dr pulley + new clutch is much better ( more responsive) that 18 g dr pulley and original clutch. 0-100 is less than 10 seconds?
Next step will be the air filter.....
What I m thinking is if change variator with Autisa could give the same result...
