Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
... I believe the cvt is restrictive and filing the ends smooth of the disc that holds weights is a way to overcome this restriction. Can anyone offer a replacement cvt so that I can overcome this or any other restriction so that I may realize a higher top end? Caution is recommended in pushing the...

Re: 2021 PCX 160/125 owner’s review thread
I have spoken to a salesman at this dealership (scrubbed from attached photo since it's not relevant), inquiring as to why their price of a used 2021 PCX exceeds the MSRP of a new model by $700... He just stared at me wordlessly, at which I bid him well and departed. Note also, that they tack a mini...

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
Here's the link. Just guessing that the "85" is a typo of the intended 65. After perusing TopSpeed's pages for independent, trustworthy, and "hands-on" reviews on a half-dozen or so bikes over the years, it became obvious that the contributors are outstanding copy/paste artists ...

Assuming identical environmental conditions for calculating top speed, i.e.; weight, air pressure, fuel, temperature, humidity, etc. or Since the frontal area of the PCX lineage is roughly the same, just assume one machine is tested with different engines; If 13.5hp (9918 watts) / 10.3 ft/lbs. prope...

MB,
There are metric bolt torque standards that...kinda, sorta work in nearly every situation.

I meant to say call Honda Corporate. And, have your key code ready - it should be in your manual. Oh, and it took over a month to get mine.

That must be the digital version; The printed Service Manual for my 2015 was...what?...$70 I think. You lost your second key? That is a shame! Call Honda and they'...

Re: WOT for a full tank...
While any engine can be run at 100% of design power, its life will be shortened. For example, even the stalwart Rotax aircraft motors run at the operational limit of 75% (ignore the 91% in the engineering design chart - it's for show) can have a TBO of just a few hundred hours. On one of my routes t...

Re: Average cost to remove and replace both tires?
I ride at every opportunity, and so, decided early on to learn to change my own tires in order to be proficient at it if needed, to save money, and to be of service to friends in the hobby - through the years, all have come to pass. The cheap HF tire changer, a couple of quality spoons, Dyna beads, ...

How-To Tip: Safer Clutch Disassembly
Like most self-maintaining scooter owners, I picked up some good points on disassembling the PCX's driven face from the video by the gent in sandals. I just don't trust my sandals (Or even my shoes!) that much. The orchids are just toooo precious. I figured that using my spare tire would be sa...

Re: Any idea when the 2021 PCX will hit the USA?
I visited a dealer in Northern Virginia, only to find the showroom was uncharacteristically bare and thinking: " sales must be great " but, sadly that was not the case. They said that Honda, like most major vehicle manufacturers is being strangled for chips. vehicles are sitting in warehou...

Re: PCX 150 Rear Tire On Front Wheel
Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom gn2. The tire has only a 'rear' symbol so I'll use it appropriately, and purchase a new front. I see that Michelin has a Pilot in our size and will try that.

PCX 150 Rear Tire On Front Wheel
I searched and searched but found no existing inquiry to answer this so, sorry if I messed up.
I happen to have an extra, new, 100/90-14 rear tire for my PCX 150. I need to replace the front tire. Does anyone know if the rear will fit / work on the front wheel?
Thanks!
