Re: How do you pull off Honda FORZA front fairings??

Hi - that is very helpful, thanks. It is the upper right front fairing. I sold the bike and want it to be flawless for the new owner. I put a small scratch alone the crease on that side. Painted and repaired, but it does not look 100%, so, ordered the replacement part. How do you lift these sections...

How do you pull off Honda FORZA front fairings??

Hi Everyone

If I just want to pull off the front right fairing panel, what do I do?? 2014 Forza 300.

Is there a flow chart to follow to take something else off first?

How to approach lifting out the tabs?

Thanks!

Re: RDQ: when selling a scooter

Hi Everyone Thank you for all the kind replies, I greatly appreciate it. It has been a long road and I have been very lucky. Hard work paid off. Part of the move is to continue to challenge myself and part of it is bucket list. I am not worried about surpassing my limitations and having to come runn...

Re: MPG

I am getting a pretty consistent 73mpg, in very mixed riding (local city and some 55 mph roads). Higher mpg with longer stretches at moderate speeds.

Hope this helps

Re: RDQ: when selling a scooter

Hi Everyone Really great replies, I appreciate all the help, honestly. I will be taking all this advice. I bought the bike nearly new, 222 miles. Showroom condition and only about 3.5 months ago. I am new to riding and passed the motorcycle safety course with no problem, in JAN. But, I wanted to mak...

RDQ: when selling a scooter

Hi Everyone I am new to riding, bought a Honda Forza 300 and am thinking about moving up to another bike, at some point. Perhaps soon. When selling your bike, do you let people ride it?? I would think not. I have had a couple boats and learned that there are SO many "tire kickers" out ther...

Re: Be SEEN

Agree. I ride ATGATT. Bright red bike (2014 Forza 300), AGV Mesh jacket with CE armor in neon yellow and blue HJC CL-17 FF helmet. Yellow gloves. When it came to helmet choice, I wanted neon yellow, but that was not available in a helmet that fit me well. SO... I chose a contrasting color that drive...

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?

:O))) That is pretty much how I ride my Forza when 50mph or above (not the wheelies, though). I am head down and locked in :O))). Thus....the windshield question. :O) [I do get waves though....from the front, like that....it almost looks as though I am on a sport bike] ps - thinking about a mesh jac...

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?

Hi Dergav - thank you for your note. I notice a lot of bikes of all kinds, have wind screens. More and more. One experienced friend, who does live in FL, told me that it will not reduce the cooling effect of wind, at lower speeds, all that much. I think it will make a significant difference at highe...

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?

I have had my Honda Forza 300 for just over a month. Really love it. All my riding is recreational and I live in SE Florida. I have a route that begins from where I live, down and back up a barrier island. About 35 miles. The roads are 30-35mph for the most part, but there is a 45 mph stretch at the...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm

Hi Beegmouse

Appreciate the response. So, I assume this is just a normal resonance and I should leave it alone. It does not bother me, just curious.

This is my first bike.

Thanks

It was full, in fact, over filled. Hard to tell, unless you are shining a light from above the cap into it.

Antifreeze

I have searched the site and the net and cannot find much information on this topic. All I can find is that the antifreeze needed for the Forza is one that is a phosphate- and silicate-free formula and compatible with aluminum engines. Peak Long Life 50/50 seems to fit the bill. It is a phosphate- a...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm

Thank you for the replies, these are very helpful. I bought my bike used, with only 222 miles. Incredible deal (fuel pump was replaced, and it came with an extended warranty). It now has 555 miles. The rear tire WAS replaced. The new one is a Dunlop, 140/70 13 MC. I think it has been balanced (one w...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm

Hi Don Thank you for a quick reply. I thought about that, it certainly could be, I do not know. But, when I have read that, the speed is about what you have mentioned. At this rpm, my speed is about 35mph. Could it be the simple resonance freq of the engine? I did not notice it before (I think). Tha...

Re: Just pulled the trigger

Big Congrats I got nowhere trying to negotiate with my local dealer. So...looked in the online ads for used ones. Found one across the state with just 240 miles on it. The dealer was great. Nice price and took care of ALL the details. Even transport. I paid $170 to have someone they worked with trai...

a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm

Hello! I am a new Honda owner and new scooter/motorcycle driver. I have a new 2014 Honda Forza 300. Really love this bike, it feels more like a sport bike than a scoot to me. I am in my 50's and have never ridden before. Just got my motorcycle license a couple months ago. Looked at a lot of bikes, a...
