Re: 4000 km service in Thailand

I just had my one-year service and that's all I paid for. However, I think the oil change is all they did (regardless of what is signed off in the service book).

Happy birthday. Hope you heal quickly.
My helmet saved my life.
If it's not usable any more, keep it for good luck!

Re: pcx alarm does not have sound...

So how do you get the sound back on? Mine suddenly went dead as well. The only time it makes noise is when I shake the bike with the alarm on. But that is it. How do you get the set and unset and answer back sounds on again?

Re: 2014 PCX 150 - speed for best economy

My 2015 seems to get the best fuel economy between 30-35 mph. This---^ Generally speaking the best economy will be had at the fastest speed before invoking air resistance. On a calm day, on level ground, 30-35(mph) is about the best. I've noticed this as well. For me, between 50-60 kph is the most ...

Re: The curb or the oncoming car

Wise choice! Now your PCX has "character"!
It sure does. Guess it's time sand it all out and repaint it.
the scoot definitely took the Bush beating.
It sure did. I've tried waxing some of the lesser scratches out. No luck.

The curb or the oncoming car

Thai drivers are effing nuts. The other day, A car going the opposite traffic lane pulls out of his lane, right in front of me. My choice was to hit him or hit the curb. I chose the curb. Whether it was the right choice, I don't know. I do know I am still alive :) Thankfully, bushes planted along th...

Full coverage on my PCX cost me 5800 baht/year (less that US $200). That includes medical insurance for me and a passenger, theft, accident, and bail bonds.

Re: YSS G Euro Pcx 150 test

I've been looking at the YSS G-Euro shocks as well. Since I weigh 107 kg and my passenger is 50 kg, I was thinking about going the XXL size. Reason being is that one-third of my driving is with a passenger, and I personally am close to the weight max alone. That's the thought. However, many people s...

Re: Helmet Cleaning

Proper way to clean helmets? I just throw the pads in the washing machine and was them in the "gentle" cycle. The helmet exterior is wiped down with a damp rag. This system has worked for four months now. But I am waiting for the pads to disintegrate LOL
