Re: Cell phone mount?
I did a mod over the weekend using some GoPro mounts and joints. Get the handlebar mount, and the clip mount that would normally go on the adhesive pad. Then either get a normal adhesive pad or the white surfboard pad and stick it on the back of the phone cover(you might want to get a cover for the ...

Re: Have you seen this 13000 km tour of South America?
Very impressive!! I have always been weary about the lifespan of the belt, and now I know it is around 24'000km which is awesome!! Will have the current one changed at 20'000km if it survives the long trips I have planned...

Re: Finally!! 12V socket installed under the seat! DIY!
Alrighty then ;) But....he got a bonus view of the battery tender pigtail and fuse box. Guess what coetzee? I don't have a plastic push pin to lose :D Honda fixed that! My 2011 had that pushy pin, I broke it the day I added a pigtail to its battery. Now....The 2015 cover just snaps in place, no pin...

Scarletts' Modifications for touring!!
Good day fellow PCX owners! Someone requested photos of the 12V modification I made(installed under the seat instead of in the glove box), so I thought I would take pics of everything I have done so far... Lemme start with another portrait shot...DAMN these PCX's are good looking!! https://fbcdn-sph...

Re: Finally!! 12V socket installed under the seat! DIY!
Pretty interesting. I really really want this in my glove box, but that's a lot more work. Your method here has piqued my possible interest. What does the other side of the battery cover look like, can you pull it out and take a photo? When I am at the bike again I will see what I can do for you :)

Re: Skully AR-1 smart helmet
There has been a lot of controversy around this helmet. The second comment here has a good point. It is a cognitive distraction, but then again, would that not depend on the individual using it? It would be pretty cool to have all the tools it offers at hand, and this helmet will surely sell BIGTIME...

Re: Getting into those hard to reach places...
All over I used Dashboard and Cockpit(vinyl) spray. Gived a brilliant shine especially to black plastic and rubber. just dont get it on the running surface of the tire. Will make it slip like crazyiceman wrote:What did you use on the rims and lower bits? Interested as those suffer the most.

Re: Long Distance Commuting
Although I have not undertaken long distance trips myself just yet, I have learned of quite a few examples here of people riding their PCX's for extended distances. I am communicating with a fellow that does a 800km trip every few months, and he has not had any problems yet...
