foam for seat mods

I am planning to work on my PowerbyPCX seat over the winter. It is better than the OEM, but as sendler and others have posted, the bosses in the pan are still there, so there is still a hump. Also, padding is thin in that area, and I would like the seat more level (fill in the ex-hump area and raise...

Re: Is my parking brake broken?

Here's the thing with the parking brake...It locks the back wheel. When the scooter is on its center stand, the preferred parking method, the back wheel does not touch the ground...yeah...... I always assumed the parking brake is so the bike doesn't roll off side-stand. I only use the side stand wh...

Re: New Honda windscreen fits my 2015 !!

Great tool and ridiculously easy: Download app, rename desktop icon to the image size you want (i.e. 1800), drag photo(s) onto icon, and done. Resized photos are in the same folder, with the "1800" added to file name, with no change to original image. http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-res...

Re: anyone remove ignition key cover?

Yes I have. Remove the four small screws on the back of the ignition... then the front cover will come off and you can then just take that "lever plate" out, careful as I recall there are 2 tiny springs and I think a ball bearing or two. And of course grind that lump off the key... I did(...

Re: anyone remove ignition key cover?

Re: security, I live in a place where the crimes described in the weekly paper usually usually consist of 2 DUIs and an iPhone stolen from an unlocked car overnight. I normally park in my garage, or in front of my office window. I never tried the steering lock until this morning, after reading that ...

anyone remove ignition key cover?

Has anyone here removed the ignition key security cover? http://www.motorscooterguide.net/Honda/PCX/files/honda-pcx150-ignition.jpg Security is a non-issue for me, and I hate that big, hard square lump on the key. I'd like to grind off the lump, but am afraid someone else may flip the cover lever ju...

Re: rack no drilling

so it seems like my options for my PCX 150 are: Honda OEM: only 35 Liters ( is there larger OEM? ) - Rear Trunk Rack - Rear Trunk attachment Givi: Max weight capacity - 55 Liter Top Case Maxia III rack should work for PCX150 as well? - Monokey Rear Rack Thanks all for your help. Or like I did, use ...

Re: rack no drilling

Wow Great Pics and so many :P yes I agree to the Honda plate being better looking than others. I'd like to use it just as a rear rack with "roc straps" to secure items. Don't think I'll ever get a top case, but that Honda plate has been on my list. Question...That one is the metal version...

What I really want to do is set up a rack in the back of the scooter for pizza delivery. However, I don't want to drill.
2013 requires drilling, 2015 does not.

Re: New bike clock

I missed having a clock on the bike, so I searched up a cheap one from Deal Extreme . https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/440/19040961616_7c827bfbd6_c.jpg I wrapped the handle bar with a strip from an old moto tube, secured with electrical tape, so it would be tight and wouldn't scratch the bar when I tig...

Re: PowerbyPCX seat surprise

I haven't yet ridden the PCX since the new saddle arrived but just sitting on it I can feel the improvement. Still, I can't help but feel a tad disappointed at what I received. Had this been made clear from the get-go, perhaps this wouldn't be so. I also think I'd have willingly paid a premium for ...

Re: Mirror extensions

I read about them on this site, first in the Forza section, so look there. I think the answer is yes they will fit, but before you order, verify for yourself which direction your mirrors are threaded. There are conflicting posts suggesting not every scooter of the same model is the same. Maybe it va...
