do they all do this?
my pcx is now done 2000miles and i have noticed when speed drops from 30ish down to 10mph i sometimes get a rattling noise from around drive belt casing , i think it may be the rollers as load comes off. anyone got any noise from this area on rolling to a stop ? as i only got 9 months left on warran...

Re: pcx parked up for now
sym was set up by honda ,and look at the 2012 models look very well built , and i think it depends on model of scooter as with the honda i thought the vision 110 was a horrible when i had one for a day , the pcx was like a sports bike next to it . but the vision is cheaper so you pays your money etc...

Re: pcx parked up for now
The main problem with the main dealer service costs is i work in the service industry on water pumping systems , and i know what is down to be done and what gets a tick on the service sheet but is not touched due to not anytime left , or it just don't need doing , i always serviced my own bikes 16v ...

pcx parked up for now
my boss has purchased a scooter for a hopefully getting around London over the Olympic period , and as i am the only engineer with a bike license i got it . As its a experimental vehicle , its a cheap 6 year old sym joyride 200 and i must say it has a lot more space over the pcx and its only a 180cc...

Re: Bluetooth helmets - any good?
i got a Bluetooth set for my open face helmet , works better than the kit fitted in my van. also has a radio system built in , controls just clip onto handle bar grip. on low so its just back ground music , i think it keeps me more alert , most sports bike riders wear ear plugs so , don't say about ...

Re: stop /start test
suspect honda put the stop/start system on the PCX more to get low emissions points than getting better MPG.
any engine that cuts out in queueing traffic , seems to be the way to go now.
i think the PCX is trying out systems which will move up to bigger honda bikes .

Re: Anyone sold a vehicle on ebay before?
hi , i sold a bike on e bay , 2 years ago - and found it was the best way to sell a bike as the price bid is the price to be paid , no "will you take £**** for it " etc. as with any sale e bay - paper , etc you must keep your wits about you and as you did listen to your gut feeling on a bu...

Re: Thinking of selling the PCX..
i got mine for £2250 brand new just pre reg , that's the only down side to a pcx resale values are low , due to dealers cutting RRP down to shift stocks.

Re: Thinking of selling the PCX..
you could get a lay up insurance ( just keeps the bike covered whilst in storage) , if you can store it off road till later in the year.

Re: Thinking of selling the PCX..
i only use my PCX for fun , why not wait for the warmer days before you do sell , as when " if " we get some hot days i think you may miss the scooter. its good fun to ride on a hot day , you don't need to put on so much stuff and the cool breeze makes biking fun. if you do sell it you wil...
