Honda heated grips

I found a set of Honda heated grips for sale in Japan.

Does anyone have these and know if there is a dedicated socket to plug them in?

This is the part number.

Re: I damaged my PCX

Thanks for the strap wrench tip. Interesting though I've watched about 10 variator install vids on YouTube and all of them use an impact wrench with no problem.

Re: I damaged my PCX

I just checked the crank thread and splines, it is ok. I'm looking at online pics of the ncy drive face and there is no where to hold it while torquing it.

I'm thinking of taking it to a Honda dealer to reinstall. Any idea how how many hour labor the charge would be?

Re: I damaged my PCX

I ordered a new nut so I'll check when it arrives. The old one goes on ok. That motion pro holding tool linked will not work on the Pcx. I ordered that a while back and it does not fit.

The ncy drive face does not have any holes to hold the drive face so what is the right way to do it?

I damaged my PCX

I have had the ncy rollers 13g for a while but never got round to installing them as I do not have the Honda tool. I decided to give it a go with an impact gun while doing the 7500 mile service. The install was easy enough, but I used the impact gun to tighten the nut back on. I took the scooter for...

Re: Losing oil?

I have topped of the oil, when it comes to the 7500 service I will change to synthetic. I will check the level every 500 miles. The bike is used at wot often. I wasn't planning on changing the spark plug until 10k, then I'll have them do a compression check.

Re: Losing oil?

Yes on centerstand, dipstick not screwed in, checked when hot and cold no difference. These engines definitely burn oil.

Losing oil?

I am not losing my mind, I've posted about the same issue before and it looks like I am not the only one. I am at 6900 miles, the service is at 7500 miles. I checked my oil using the correct procedure in the service manual and the dipstick is not showing any oil reading. There is no smoke from the e...

Brake Pad Replacement

Soon I will be replacing the front brake pads. Is there an aftermarket brand better than OEM?

Handguards

What handguards work with one inch risers and the givi tall windshield?

I want some handguards that attach to the handlebars but do not go in the bar ends.

The reason I want them is to provide a buffer between the levers and large windprotectors.

Re: Tail of the Dragon

Yes it's nice, rather be back in Colorado though. Be careful with speed traps. I take my mustang at first light to avoid traffic and the popo. The dragon is not the best road there. I'll try and post some pics of maps later. I prefer the ocee loop. It's not as technical but a nicer ride. I've never ...

Coolant change

I've had my 2015 pcx for 2 years. The manual calls for it to be drained and refilled. I've only done 5500 miles, does it really need to be changed at this point?

Where do I drain it from? I am hesitant about removing all the plastics again.
