It's actually 279cc so nearer a 300 than a 250.

What about your insurance which would be void if you did not tell them about any engine change. The brakes should also be uprated to cope with any extra power.

Re: checking brake wear

The front brake pads can be checked quite easily but the rear brake pads are almost impossible to check without taking off the silencer and inspecting the whole caliper.

No, of course they are not legal but what are the chances of being caught in London? You would need a police officer who knows what to look for, even less chance of being caught.

Re: Forza 125 with 300 engine

I think it's been done in the UK - done be people who have 125s and then steal a 300. Apparently it's much easier than you think.

Probably the fuse as it is a 2 amp fuse I think. If you try and use anything powerful at all, it will blow. I blew mine a while ago and the fuse was in one of the fuse boxes.

Forza 350 lowering link

Just wondering if anyone has purchased a set of lowering links for the Forza 350 (usually for sale on fleabay) and did they make much difference. I am interested as I am thinking of buying a Forza 350.

Re: bead leak on front tire

Bead leaks are just usually a bit of corrosion on the alloy wheel rim edge. If you remove the wheel and remove the tyre, you will see alloy corrosion which can be sanded down and removed. I had to do it on a Honda Silver wing scooter rear wheel. Not an expensive repair, just inconvenient.

Re: NSS 300 Fuel Pump Recall/Replacement: Success?

There were actually TWO recalls about the fuel pump. My 2014 model has had both recalls done years ago in the UK. You should contact a Honda dealer to see if your Forza has been done or, if it hasn't been done, ask if the recall is still relevant as Honda should pay for it. You could go on the Honda...

Have Honda stopped selling their own higher screen replacement for the pre 2018 models? I have one on my 2014 model and I find it excellent.

The part number of the seal is: 18391-MN1-670, price about £13 UK. Also used on, Forza 250, Reflex 250, Jazz 250, CH 250, and CRM 250. All Honda models. I hope this might help you.

Re: 100,000 mile scooters

Has anyone tried muffler cement or hight temperature RTV in place of the $32 Canadian gasket which does not last that long? I answered the question in the other thread - use gasket paper and red RTV Using it for cars, trucks, tractors, dozers, for years You have to use the genuine gasket as it is n...

Re: 100,000 mile scooters

Yes, I have reused that gasket many times, replacing rear tyres, servicing the rear brake caliper, replacing rear brake pads etc. I removed the silencer when it was new as I knew how expensive those gaskets are. Just slacken off the exhaust/silencer clamp and wiggle the silencer free after removing ...

It's not a standard gasket. It's round and quite thick - a special Honda part Number: 18391-MN1-670. Price in UK is £12-13. It's called a Packing Muffler by Honda.

Re: Any online site to purchase cheap OEM spare parts for Forza 300?

EBC do brake rotors for front and rear, as well as brake pads. The muffler joint gasket is an expensive one available From Honda - I haven't see after market ones for sale. A pattern air filter may be available from HiFlo, although not listed as such, it appears to be the same as the Honda SH300, wh...

Just keep checking the oil level for a while - remember that the dip stock should be unscrewed when you check it.

Mine been in over 30 K KM
But Honda will have them made to their specific high standards. It does not matter where they are made - it's how well they are made that matters.
