Re: North American Dealer?

Look in the board index under Vendor for Sale, look for PowerbyPCX and follow this link: www.powerbyPCX.com This company is a supporter of the forum and offers a discount to members. Lots of good gear for sale. It's in French but if you use Google Chrome just right click and translate it to English

Waterless Coolant in Scoot

Not much on my plate at the moment so thought I'd ask the question. Is there any advantage or reason to run waterless coolant in a PCX?

In the coolant reservoir, not the gas tank :D :D

Re: Replacing Brake Levers

Job done, it was much easier than I thought. All I had to do was stand back and watch my son do it :D :D

Took him about 5 minutes, and yes i could do it myself after seeing how easy it was.

Thanks for all the friendly advice, it's a great forum.

Re: When and how do you put your foot down at a stoplight?

Left foot down on tippy toes (short legs), both feet down if the wind is strong and buffets the scoot, or the road is wet. Also both feet down if i'm sitting on a high spot on the road and my foot goes down in the valley (usually caused by heavy trucks on hot bitumen). I found that one out the hard ...

Re: How many back-up helmets do you have? What types and wh

Two helmets, I bought a white modular on eBay before I got my scoot, then tried an LS2 full face and liked it a lot better.

The white is practical in our hot weather but mostly worn by posties (postmen) and cops. I don't fit either profile :D :D

Re: Replacing Brake Levers

I changed out the levers on both of our pcx 150s. You don't have to do much of anything. It took me about 10 minutes per bike. Once they are connected you may have to adjust the back nut to tighten the cable. Otherwise it is quite easy. Did you loosen the back nut and give the cable some slack befo...

Re: Replacing Brake Levers

The grips look very nice and their website appears user friendly. That's a plus! How long did they take to arrive? You mentioned you ordered the longer version, sometimes (especially when I wear heavier gloves) I think the levers should be longer. Some folks here that changed their's out claimed br...

Re: Replacing Brake Levers

I picked these up on ebay, got the long version, black levers with red adjusters. The quality is excellent. Probably best if I wait for my son to install them. As I tell all my friends, between us my son and I know everything, but that's one of the things he knows :D :D http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/36...

Re: Your childhood house...

:D This used to be my childhood home, a 3 bedroom wooden house next door to a woodyard, with a park across the street where I played football with my mates. We used to play cowboys and indians in the woodyard, hiding behind hessian bags of firewood stacked up as high as the roof. I shot my mate in t...
