Re: Does my bike need an annual service if it's only done 1,500 miles?

Thanks for all the replies, really helpful. The bike is stored in an underground parking lot and the temperature never drops close to freezing. I think I'll just check the oil today and possibly top it up if needed, but I doubt it needs changing. I'll get the full service done at 8,000 miles. I'm in...

Does my bike need an annual service if it's only done 1,500 miles?

Exactly as the title says. I have a 2018 PCX, which has only done 1,500 miles since its last service last November (from 4,000 miles up to 5,500). Do I still need a minor service (oil and filter), or shall I wait until I hit the suggested interval of 8,000 miles?

Many thanks.

Full face helmet that fits in 2019 PCX?!

Hi all, I recently bought a brand new 2019 PCX 125 to replace my previous 2015 model that was tragically stolen... I am very disappointed by what I perceive to be a serious design flaw / oversight on the 2019 model compared to previous years. While the underseat storage has apparently been expanded,...

Which Givi topbox?

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a Givi topbox (40 Litres), but there are dozens on the website and I have no idea which is best for my PCX:

https://www.givi.co.uk/products/cases

I think 40L is sufficient to fit one full-face helmet (AGV K3)?

Thanks.

Pillion adjustments?

Hi all, I have just got my A1 licence (UK) which means I can now carry a pillion passenger. I couldn't find anything in the owners manual about adjusting the suspension or pre-load on the rear forks. Are there any adjustments I can make to my PCX to help with the extra weight of a passenger? Apart f...

Thanks for the reply.
It looks to me like the 2011 white PCX was a lot brighter than the 2015 one. Mine looks dull in comparison. Shame.

How to get my white PCX to shine!

Hi everyone,

No matter how clean I keep my white PCX, it always seems to look a little 'dull' compared to when I first bought it. I drive in London every day, so it gets pretty grubby.

I was just wondering if there's a non-abrasive product I can buy to really make it shine?

Decal stickers?

I remember seeing once someone had these flourescent electric blue decal stickers on their wheels. Looked badass. If anyone knows where I can buy these or similar, please let me know.

My previous post is in response to this:

The Yamaha is cheaper than the PCX so I can't understand why anyone in the UK would choose a PCX right now.

In France there's even more 125s with ABS.

Re: Crashed last week on A406

Seriously, what is your problem? Why are you on a PCX forum? I don't understand why you waste so much of your life on a website whose address is... Wait for it:

www.hondapcx.org

And spend all your time complaining about the PCX? There's something very, very odd about that.

UK Licence

Just do your Direct Access. Price won't be very different to the A1. And if you do ever change your mind and want a bigger bike, you don't need to spend more money. Prices start around £650 for a 4 day course - some are more. That's assuming you get on with gears and pass 1st time, otherwise it's m...
