Re: Need suggestion for phone holder

Sena is the best solution for managing your phone and tunes on a motorbike IMO. Super voice clarity even over engine noise, no one suspects you're in a helmet. https://www.amazon.com/Sena-SMH10-11-Motorcycle-Bluetooth-Microphone/dp/B0087NB088/ref=sr_1_5?crid=145QV6MQVJBBW&keywords=sena+headsets+...

Re: Average age of PCX/Forza owners?

Balance is fleeting if you don't push the brain over 50 to calculate it. Given we do this everyday we most likely won't be tumbling off our wide fit sketchers like some old fossils who don't ride.

Re: 2019 PCX150 600-mile valve clearances

You know I'm late to this party but WOW! YES someone has managed to get to the valve clearance adjustment on the old models without following the SM at all. That's truly ingenious and certainly we want TO DO THAT! over taking all the plastic off. Do my eyes deceive me? Is this real? is that an LED P...

Re: How-To: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX

turn the crankshaft COUNTER CLOCKWISE until the index mark and the cutout on the fan line up... Just to clarify, that's counterclockwise if turning the crankshaft from the left side using the nut. If turning the crankshaft on the right side using the fins on the radiator fan, you turn clockwise. If...

Re: 2019 PCX150 600-mile valve clearances

Congratulations! it's GREAT seeing more of you boys doing your own maintenance recently. Don't be frustrated and yes put your valve clearance into spec. I agree the SM gets lost when it comes to the luggage box section and I did exactly the same thing you did by removing it as soon as I could. I ass...

Re: After 1st service, a little rough going

Reboot the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery cable from the battery for 30 minutes… That should do it… My mechanic ask me once why I was riding with a fuel can strapped to my saddle and I said... so I can help forum members document how long after the low fuel indicator we could expect to g...

Re: New Member, New PCX

As Paul says I'm jealous too for the idea you can skirt traffic like that. Some other FYI for new owners on steep grades. Be aware the clutch drops out at exactly 9 mph on PCX. If you coast without clutch engaged not using engine braking down the streets of San Fran you will find the brakes are 50 p...

Hey Jeff! Welcome You have a nice scoot brother and many miles of fun ahead. Sounds like you will be using the Honda Dealership for service that's cool. Not everyone has the time to tool their own. Unless something has changed you have a one year warranty and the first service coming up. They will d...

Re: Valve clearances on a new 2018 PCXneeded adjustments

First I congratulate you sir on your diligence and timely deconstruction of the challenging valve clearance adjustment on a Honda PCX. If its any comfort to you I broke the same tab on one side of the grab rail cover as well and it made no difference to use the 20 dollar part with a broken tab if we...

Re: Scuffs and a melt!

I HAVE heard of melts! They're always around the windscreen. It takes just the right angle to searing sun to considerate the heat under OR near the edge of a windscreen. Something to think about when parking on a hot summer day. That's too bad but very interesting post... thanks for the reminder.

Gorilla damage, I would replace that and look to see who wears boots with steel lace eyelets at the garage. If you don't use the step thru you must commit to tossing your big azz foot OVER the tail.

Can anyone shoot me a picture of the NCY adjustable rear shock spanner wrench? Precious's new owner needs a little more tension and I can't find the spanner tool. Just wondering exactly what we are looking for. https://www.corsportusa.com/i-18198-2010-honda-pcx-125-ncy-performance-shocks-rear-orange...

Are you seeking high trafficked, top teared, fuel stations in the Chicagoland area. Because we have some really dicey operations owned and operating from week to week dependent on cash payments for deliveries draining their rotten underground tanks into the slug that you get for the same price as qu...

Dang WN you know how to bring the emo... stop it! That one in the middle was a great metal detecting day at the Church, the barn pics go back a while and the scooter porn on top was a scenic overlook formerly known as a great southwestern Chicago suburb land fill. Ah the precious memories.
