Re: How a CVT works - youtube
Its a small bike with zero on-board storage, chain drive and a manual box. Totally impractical as daily transport, a p.i.t.a. to clean and maintain, thoroughly unpleasant to ride, I could go on.... I should add to your list - no electric start... because the next bike that I would love to have (in ...

3,000 KMs? Funny how you say your in Australia but we traced your IP address back to Reggy's in Pattaya. So enough with the games. Did you tell everyone that your wife is a former Pattaya WHORE? Maybe you can tell us all how you traced his IP address. I'm not familiar with this special ability unle...

Yesterday, I rode on a Meetup group ride up to the food truck festival at Bates nut farm, about 100 miles total round trip from my house. At the meetup location a girl was on a 50cc scooter and she left about 15 minutes before us. She was already at the destination when we got there because of the s...

Re: How a CVT works - youtube
The Buddy 170i that I got for my wife seems like it works much like the video. It needs to get the rpms up before the clutch engages so there's a little delay in takeoff unless you gas it harder. Not the greatest clutch system for my wife who is a brand new rider, a little timid and doesn't want to ...

Ok... we don't want to see butt crack for sure. I will look for the rest of the outfit. If you buy the pants part of the outfit it will already have the other half of the zippered part sewn in. That little piece is for you to sew into a pair of riding pants or jeans (that doesn't already have the z...

Buddy 170i
My wife and I went and bought a Genuine Buddy 170i on Saturday. I don't know what happened, guess she saw how much fun I've been having and decided to change her stance on "bikes are dangerous". Started saying things last week like "it would be fun to go for a ride and have a picnic&q...

Re: What colour is your PCX?
I got mine in gloss black because it's what they had at the dealer when I went. I had wanted red but I'm flexible, I'm ok with the black, it looks nice too. Now if I could get those body panels in blue for a 2013, I'd be very tempted to switch the whole thing out.

We're not the ones living in a country where its legal to fuck the livestock or children. Neither are we. Maybe you can clue us in as to which country on earth allows this? He shouldn't have started the fight by bashing on Europe but this is ridiculous. And don't get me started on your insane ideas...

With so many military installations in San Diego I'm dead meat when the nukes start flying. No need to deal with all that survivor stuff. I'll just say my goodbyes now.

Re: has anyone got NCY CVT sliders?
I'm new to scooters and cvt stuff, I'm used to gears and shifting. Am I wrong on my post? I got the feeling that scooters don't have one set of rollers and one set of sliders.

Re: has anyone got NCY CVT sliders?
Looks like they both do the same thing but rollers are round so they roll, sliders are not round so they slide. It's either/or, not both. https://www.google.com/search?q=cvt+sliders&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=MGLvU-HrMdGBogTBh4GIAg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg&biw=1007&bih=482 https...

Re: 1st Maintenance
I'm with the apply moderate loads crowd. During break-in you want to load the rings. Stop and go city riding is the best (except for those long stoplights) or for country roads you should speed up (to moderate speeds) and slow down, speed up and slow down while riding. Idling is bad as well as prolo...

Re: Cup Holder Recomendations?
Well, I was thinking that it would be handy at a stoplight (like I typically do on my bicycle) or one of the times the group pulls over for a short break. I don't think that I'll do a lot of drinking while actually riding but it's a lot better than having to get off and open the seat. I want to stay...
