Re: New member

Yeah, that was me, the other black PCX had invited me through this forum. Definitely was a very fun ride. Regarding the PCX... I kind of wish it was exactly like it is but with about 200-250cc. A little extra power would be helpful on backcountry highway rides, especially with the local mountains. I...

There was a white 2015 on the Ruckus ride last weekend, you?

Also looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

Re: simple cell mount

I've always felt that a phone takes a lot more shock on the handlebars than in your pocket or pack since your body acts as a large shock absorber. It would be nice if somebody developed a cheap Bluetooth handlebar display for the iPhone with a few simple controls. It would be good for bicycling or m...

How come you're speaking to him when replying to his scooter? Is the scooter to relay the message?

This seems to be the answer. Sounds like the new and old scooters have the same four mount holes in the same location.

Re: 2015 PCX 150 Rear Trunk attachment

Someone with a 2015 should pop the plastic off the back and see if the four bolt locations are still inside along with the four drilling markers on the plastic.

Re: Tall windscreens

I think the windshield selection may also depend on your driving habits. I do short slower hops and need my bike light enough to take camping on a hitch carrier so the PCX and mid shield was perfect. For cruising longer distances something else may make sense although I did take a 70 mile hop aroun...

Kawasaki's website doesn't show any new little bikes, could it have been the Honda Grom?

I think the majority can appreciate the effort that others make to create something unique. But I'm sure that there are a some that would go to a hot rod and customs car show and say "bah humbug" also.

p.s. I was the only scooter in attendance with a top box. Think I win the nerd award.

Re: Tall windscreens

How does the mid Givi compare to the genuine Honda windshield (not the one that comes on the PCX, the aftermarket accessory)? It seems like a mid height windscreen too.

Re: Ridezblok Inaugural ride around the blok *SAN DIEGO*

This was a lot of fun. There were a lot of scooters and a few motorcycles, I'm guessing 40-50. So many very cool tricked-out scooters. I think we were filmed in a lot of videos today, seemed like every tourist or local we passed whipped out their cell phone to take a vid. So many of the scooters had...

Duggle, i see what youre saying. But remember if you have you choice (which you do), you'd rather sweat than bleed im sure lol. Yeah, I agree. It's something I just have to get used to. I wear shorts 365/yr and pants feel uncomfortable (when I have to wear them). Even at the aerospace engineering a...

What kind of cargo are you people carrying to work? When I commuted to work, all I needed was my brain and what fit in my pockets (door badge/ID to wear around neck, keys, phone, etc). Even when I rode to work on a bicycle and took a change of clothes, it fit into one pannier.

Re: How a CVT works - youtube

Yeah, better, but I like the late '60s style. I'm just locked into that period as far as the styling that I like best. Totally impractical, and I'd probably get a ton of rust on the chrome since I live at the beach but I can't help it.

Um... what? What are you talking about? CBR300/300F are pushbutton start near killswitch, just like your pcx... I meant no electric start for the bike I want. All of the above mentioned defects plus kick-start only. I like retro: this, the Suzuki TU250 (which is finally available in Cali) or the Ro...
