Re: Help a beginning tinkerer!
If its a 125 i would go all the way down to 10g. I've tried 13g as recommended on here and while it made a difference the bike was not as quick top end as with the 10's. The 125 doesn't have the same grunt as as 150 so needs to run a bit less weight in my opinion. You're right, 2010-11 model non es...

Re: MPG with just rollers and/or lighter drive face?
Wondering what type of hit MPGs are seeing after the quicker acceleration... Really want numbers of someone staying below 65 or at least 70 mph. But I can listen to a speed demon's input on the matter as well. 8) Well, not really that much difference with transmition only changes. When I just did p...

Re: Me rollers fu@@ed
Mixing rollers and sliders will do that even on ncy variator. Sliders are taller than rollers so there is uneven pressing angle by ramp plate which will tear them to bits.
This is not variators fault to be clear..in fact it's a good vario with literally best top end speed.

Re: Forza 35mm TB
38mm on the intake side. I've gradually enlarged it to 40mm and at the top of the taper goes up to 45mm..I could do more all round but it's good as is now..

Re: Forza 35mm TB
I didn't like the fat lip on the stock 35mm tb as I thought it would hinder smooth air passage from airbox hose in to the tb itself. So I've decided to use some crude tools to taper the edge in to funnel shape. This way now there is a smooth transition for air traveling from the air hose in to the t...

Re: Automatic Seat Lift
That's correct, however for those trips that require full face helmet there is a good news..this strut literally takes 1 minute to takedown or install back on.lennoxlewis wrote:its great but now there's no chance of storing a full helmet with chin protection. other that that: LEGEND

Another interesting comparison is Yamaha Nmax bbk 180cc dyno test result. Nmax has much better head set up utilising 4v.. go to 10:06 seconds in the video for the dyno graph result

The spring is obviously more ideal but the strut is actually not that intrusive unless a full face helmet is required to go under the seat. And it looks the biz...

Re: How quick can be a modded Pcx?!
One on the left is engine temp and other is air/fuel ratio. Both imperative for when going bbk. They're straight plug ins, very easy to install..

Re: Automatic Seat Lift
Screws are small, not self tapping...they are not long and they were supplied with the strut. So no modification needed to any parts of the seat. Literally took 1min to install! I got the strut from webike, I tried to find the link for it so I can put it on here but couldn't find it again from the b...

Re: Austin racing & sc project exhaust
Probably not. You may loose too much backpressure with a bigger motorcycle exhaust which means going backwards with your engine performance gains from that kit. That is if you can find someone to make you a header pipe to fit on to the muffler as well. I'd just rather buy a pipe already made, and I'...

Re: install bore up kit, haven't crank problem?
No problem on crankshaft. With Takegawa Vario, make sure you use stock Honda ramp plate and a .3 or .4mm washer on face pulley side.Honda ramp plate sits much deeper in the variator thus giving it a much better takeoff speed without the loss of performance anywhere else. You can get the perfect size ...
