Re: Where Is THe Cheapest Gas?

Just paid 113.9 cents a litre or $3.45 US a gallon (the 3.78L kind) the other day. Lots of taxes. I typically save 30 cents a litre driving half an hour south to Washington State which I did once a month or two and would bring back two 20L jerry cans back. But my passport expired. In Alberta next d...

Re: The Epic Battle Of Ideologies - Lancer525 & Tribpr

Are you people serious? If you're going to insult someone, call them names, and even attempt to psychically determine someone's political ideology, the least you could do is ask them directly, instead of making yourself look like a total ass... Just where do you get off? There you are! Hey friend. ...

Re: The Epic Battle Of Ideologies - Lancer525 & Tribpr

"Some Like It Hot" I suppose I appear to, but, not really. Well, I guess The Contender isn't going to show. Lets chat : I believe in something higher than man. Man is a mess. Only disciplined faith (not religion) will keep us from death. Humans need to believe in something. Even atheists ...

Trib, I'm lost. What's this (thread) about? Peace Be With You and All :) You too brother. What happened is a communist/progressive member wanted to insinuate a superior knowledge of political/economic/social structures. Then, before I even have a chance to ask him to justify his position (in the co...

Re: Movie - The Interview

Not a big fan of the movie theater. Me too, started with the introduction of surround sound, it just annoys me. Totally agree. My wife and I went to a movie for the first time in years and the sound was painful for us both. We'd really like to see American Sniper but I don't I can convince her to e...

I pray I will be so joyful when I am tested. Thanks Mike! Thanks for sharing homie. You are an inspiration. I am in bit of a quandary. Just been laid off after 20 years with the same company. I have a family of 4 to provide for. Now I am 44 and have to re-invent myself to move forward. Scared half t...

It is said that Thailand has excellent medical care at affordable prices. This fella says a gender change can be had there dirt cheap. O...

Re: center stand

My '73 R65LS had the optional ride-off stand. It was a few cm shorter than the stock stand and was designed to allow both wheels to just have a contact patch on the ground. Mount, start, drop it into first, ease the clutch out and, you're off! Downside was mainly maintenance; had to carry a little b...

Re: How-To: Valve Adjustment for Honda PCX

There is a pattern here;
Valves first checked at 600 miles are usually reported at too tight.
Valves first checked at thousands of miles are usually in spec.

Makes me wonder if Honda planned the factory gap as tight knowing it would loosen....

the "death wobble" on your scooter...how do I avoid that? Being one who avoids solutions in need of a problem, I advised caution and testing in another thread relating to tire size swaps - and still do. At 27° and 3.4", the PCX150 rake and trail feel too steep and the steering too qu...

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150

Had never heard of the Cateye 10 but looked it up. It's usefulness for cycling is obvious; small, light, low power. This may be a foolish idea, right off the top of my head, but I have seen cheap back-up cameras / screen for $40. I wonder if one could mount the screen as you suggest and point the ca...

Ideally, it should be at a height that allows the rider to be able to [ just ] look over the top of the screen....and still flip the air over the rider's head.Johnny Exactly Johnny. Had to put that in there 8) I see that the 1130 in the photo has the warning and inspection stickers on it. So it's a...

I'll wait for the 1130 as well.
It might work for me with a Laminar Lip.
Or not.
My experience with the LL is that it produced unbelievable turbulence.
But that was a completely different configuration.

Re: Tall Windscreen For 2015 PCX150

Hmmm, well, viewed that way...
the tall Givi looks a lot taller than the medium. And I notice that the 323DT (2013 and prior) is the same height as the new D1130ST.
Anyone have the 323DT around here for a measurement from nacelle to top of screen?
