Re: Honda NC700
I need to check pics of the instruments anyway. Looks nice. I was considering a NT700V but may wait to see what this one is like.

Nice looking bike but is that supposed to be a windscreen on the S? Needs an Ermax or Givi!

Re: 2 q's for experienced PCX'ers
OK I turned off the idle stop feature for the downhill part of my commute where I am in stop start traffic. Often I was stopping, then car ahead was moving just as motor stopped. Im trying to match throttle to speed instead of coasting. I probably had some habits from motorbikes as would often coast...

2 q's for experienced PCX'ers
Ive got a couple of Questions. 1) How can you stop the lurch when you are rolling down hill with motor in idle or cut off (ignition cut off). When you then blip the throttle the PCX lurches until the variator matches up to the speed. Any way to minimise the lurch? 2) I am going overseas for 2 weeks ...

Re: PCX Phone mount help
My iPhone would go flat with bluetooth and gps going unless I get my 12V socket installed. Regarding sound out of sync do you have a fast (class6?) SD card? My camera did crap video till I bought a more expensive memory card.

Woozy Good to see another yachtie. I live in the best sailing area of Australia and have a Nauticat 33 for cruising, but race on my friends Jeanneau 39i. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7189/6950598847_2d031d183f.jpg Puffin by TazPCX , on Flickr http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7176/6804479920_c1d25e022c...

Could you use the handlebar mount but cut out a small hole for camera lense? A bicycle mount should work on the PCX. I got a cheap one off eBay.

Re: oxford htd grips
So you are saying the muffs attach to the bike and you stick you hands in them so are then attached to the bike so cant roll clear if you have a spill? Not that I am worrying as its 39 degrees C here and dont feel like wearing any gloves or jacket!

Re: oxford htd grips
With muffs are you attached then to the bike? Wondering if you have a spill as sometimes its best to separate from the scooter! I used to use over glove mitts in the UK in winter. Went over normal gloves as an extra layer.

When I google translate the first link from Maddie for the Customax, price comes up as $3.5 million ! Must be money to be made in PCX sideboxes. Also refers to a David Johnson as retailer for them but havent been abl to track down further.

Re: how much do you pay for insurance?
I think UK fees are lower as they have high registration fees that includes basic insurance and then MOT fees (pay for a compulsory inspection). We dont have these, so
