Re: Riding with full beam on all the time.
I would not want to pull up behind a car or bike in traffic with high beam on, even in day time. And I wouldnt want someone behind me doing it. Do unto others as would want them do unto you. Low beam is fine.

Re: Newbie
Im happy with my ermax +25 screen which is 25cm higher than stock screen. Not quite as tall as tall Givi but in my opinion looks nicer. Pics elsewhere on this forum if you search.

Re: Singapore trip - AD200
Here are a couple of snaps of the AD200 I saw in Singapore. I think it looks better for real than in the photo. Anyway good for Singapore which seems to rain every day. And there seems to be a AD250 version too. Roof can be folded back into rear top box which is why that is so big. http://farm9.stat...

Re: ...Saddlebags...
Here is my $70 rack. Took me 20 min to install after boring out holes in rear fairing with my dremel tool. Seems solid and is supposed to hold 12kg. Also if I decide to put on a topbox I can now install any generic type. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7041/6977526386_0181a4ae19_z.jpg iPhone after UK ...

Singapore trip - AD200
whilst in Singapore as well as getting a cheap rack for my PCX and seeing several PCX's riding around, I saw a few of these Adiva AD200's Scooters with a roof. See http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/adiva_ad_200_2011.php . They looked nice up close and only 200cc so not a monster. Does not seem to be ...

Re: Loose Mirror Help
you can tighten them up very tight or add a washer first to get position right before tightening. One of them is reverse thread so that they should tighten when wind pushes against them. Sorry am overseas and away from my pCX otherwise would help more.

Re: Carrying lugage on rear seat
They can fit on a family of 4 onto PCX in Thailand or Vietnam. So a few bottles should be easy! I ended up buying a cheap $70 rack whilst in Singapore and am carrying it in my suitcase round UK at moment. here is the shop in Singapore: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7086/6941225288_96600ce1e0.jpg IMG...

I just filled up my hire car with diesel here in UK. Cant believe diesel costs more than petrol. It should be easier to refine. Prices are double what we pay. And weather is shite!

Re: ...Saddlebags...
I visited Wing yap in Singapore today. They wanted 1200 spore dollars for those panniers as they are custom jobs each time. Didn't have any in stock to see. I bought a rack for 90 spore dollars which I think is about 70 bucks. Supposed to hold 12 kg weight.

Re: PCX 150?
rainburg: I want a NC700 or maybe older NT700 for weekend 2 up cruising. I will keep PCX for my urban commuting but when you add 2 up and luggage its not for longer range touring. 700 seems a good balance between economy and guts to do that. And I can stick with the Honda brand. even my outboard mot...

Re: Thinking of selling the PCX..
The PCX is a 2 seater. Why cant you drop your girlfriend off using the pilion? I had my brother in law stay for a month and was always dropping him off at work on the PCX. I prefer commuting with the PCX as its easy to park near work and free parking. And I like riding in the rain as it tunes your s...

Re: Honda NC700
They are not going to sell the X in Oz. A soft roader wouldnt cut it here. But I am interested in the S, probably not the DCT version though. Love the helmet storage in the dummy tank! The white one will compliment my white PCX nicely. Its supposed to be available by June.

Re: Nearly came off my PCX
Ive been riding for many years and come off 8 times. Keep a close eye on the road. I avoid white markings, manhole covers etc on the road as a matter of habbit as that means when wet you are instinctively staying off them without thinking. I have one corner where gravel has spread on top of the tarm...

small world. I was flying gliders when I was 17 and low passes soon after (sometimes between the trees). Moved on to my CPL/IR after doing my glider gold C but now i've got the PCX for even more fun.
