Re: Mods on my PCX 125
so you're bombing Genesee from the Clairemont, to just a little above UCHS? I'm only able to hit 65 where ever i go on the PCX 150. I end up hitting the rev limiter. Sucks big time.

Mgalutia88,
What do you think about stripping out the coating, and just giving everything a mirror polish? Also the rule of thumb with the silders is to go down 2oz from the current roller weights you’re using.

Re: new on your forum
well from experience the best solution is to actually sandblast the part. It makes it course enough to use the plastic adhesion promoter, so you can prime and paint it. I may just order an extra piece to experiment with.

Re: De-modded from NCY Variator to kinda stock...my thoughts
Stock contra spring with NCY variator and 12g rollers will yield 77mph on a 150 So is this what you're using then? NCY Variator 12G roller and NCY Clutch assy with only the OEM Contra Spring swapped in? If so, I can try switching that out as well. =) BTW, Josh...got your PM. I'm in Pt Loma area in ...

Re: FNG from San Diego CA
Since it's close to 3k almost i'm going to change it over to synthetic, go with an irridum plug, and change the gear oil.

Re: De-modded from NCY Variator to kinda stock...my thoughts
The reason you loose speed is the contra spring doesn't compress fully. Just use the stocker.

Re: engine stalled on freeway, won't start again
Just because the oil is "a little low" doesn't mean you neglected it! Who decided that it was low, and how low is a little low? I think it is ridiculous that dealers try to find fault with the owners when something goes wrong, even if we follow their rules. If it quit while you were ridin...

Just trying to see if anyone would be interested in stretch mounts for the PCX 150? I'm going to start testing a prototype within the next few months.

Re: PCX's ECU
Also another note, i know this module
http://www.steadygarage.com/store/two-w ... -yamaha-c3
has been used on the new EFI Honda met, by a fellow at Steadygarage. So this maybe a cheap solution to get a little bit more power out the pcx.

Re: De-modded from NCY Variator to kinda stock...my thoughts
When i had my zuma the contra spring lowered the topend speed, as the motor didn't make enough power to full compress it. so with the contra, variator, and rollers i did 55. Went to the stock spring and was able to do 65. So in my theory and thoughts the contra springs can be over rated on a stock b...

FNG from San Diego CA
Hey guys blew my old Xt 350 dual sport last thursday and got a great deal on a 2013 PCX 150 with 2900 miles. The guy knocked it over and has some slight plastic scratches but nothing worth crying over. Before my Xt350 i had a Zuma 125 which was a really nice scooter. It had some fairly good mods. I'...
