Re: Stretched engine mount
hondaspree.net would be my first go to place, then check the wanted/sale ads. The Dio swap isn't a direct bolt on unless you take the 6-7mm off the sides of the mounts. I'd just get another stock engine or rebuild the stupid thing. Super simple, 4 bolts the head comes off and just change out the pis...

Re: Stretched engine mount
Maddiedog, Your best bet with the spree is keep it looking stock. There are a number of mods you can do. First is to get rid of that motor that’s in it now. I think if I can remember the spree motor doesn’t have a variator, and the engine number is AF0E I think. You’re better off going with the AF16...

Re: Possible 4 valve head conversion
Odd. This is the first I've seen of a 4-valve conversion. Where did you find the pic, and is there more info? I wonder how this would affect the power output of the engine... Maggiedog, I found it on the Thai Board, i couldn't convert half the broken engrish . But i got the idea it's the CBR150i he...

Hahahah That's not someones kitchen. Over in most Asian countries they use tiles in their workshops for some reason. I prefer concrete, because you're bound to drop something.wingz wrote:That kitchen is dirtier than mine.

Re: wanting to change out the bars
here not best pic but shows it well Dude you wrapped the hideous chrome plastic. My hero! I'm probably going to go with some low bars myself. I wanted to do a broomstick or straight handlebar but i'd have to use some kind of risers. The bar would hit the plastic top side. :( So i will look at my op...

Possible 4 valve head conversion
So I I came across this picture. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h216/dem0nk1d/601137_158671777614738_515904053_n_zpsf2b509c6.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h216/dem0nk1d/Capture_zps73017e83.png So apparently they are using the CBR150i head on the 125 engine. I take it this is the 125 engin...

Re: Stretched engine mount
I think we can do 6 inches, but then i have to figure out some kind of shock blocks so the angle isn't so sharp.

Re: Stretched engine mount
interesting concept are you coming from the ruck or crotch rocket scene. the only problem i have with it is not sure how it will look without side bags. and it also adds some stability for highway speeds I'm too classy for the ruckus. I come from this scene, but i rode a Zuma 125. But yes i'm all i...

Re: NERTIA POWER BOOSTER SET YUMINASHI
to me i'd rather reduce weight getting the rpms to speed and being able to hold the throttle in position to keep me going. i understand the idea of making things heavier to keep the objects momentum going, but this just sounds crazy.

Re: Stretched engine mount
Just out of curiosity, what is gained by stretching the engine mount out? Is it fully cosmetic? Maddiedog, It's to keep the frontend down when doing wheelies. Just strictly cosmetic. Here are some stretched PCX's http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h216/dem0nk1d/pcx-stretchedvsnon_zpsb15d7e90.p...

Re: NERTIA POWER BOOSTER SET YUMINASHI
if it's a flywheel, this is adding weight and also that the bike is a CVT type system when the bike drops in RPM the belt changes slowing the bike down. Also you have a flywheel already in the bike for the stator / generator system. The mag or some people call it a flywheel. http://images.imagessite...

Anyone care to break this down for me and what it actually does. I read it twice and don't understand what it's doing.

Re: Mods on my PCX 125
The best test is to use a sharpe and mark the variator faces to see where and how high the belt is riding.

Re: Mods on my PCX 125
If you drop to 10-12g weights you'll hear the rpms scream. This is the tach I use. It's small and convenient to place and cheap too at $26 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000FOOAXY?cache=6b54a274c4199df60af0e32283f7be9a#ref=mp_s_a_1_2&qid=1392749372&sr=8-2 But with the RPMS increasing you'll...

You think it's the rollers bouncing around? Centrifugal force should push them to the outer edge of the variator no matter what.Mgalutia88 wrote:That's not your limiter bud, it's your rollers bouncing around. Probably around 6800 rpm. The rev limiter is at 9600.
