After how many miles have you gone thru rear brake pads?

Yes....air filter. I get high 70's to 80's. I must admit I'm not a hot rodder (and the air here is very dry...perfect for high mileage). I was getting 67/68 with the old filter at first.

It looks almost exactly like the original (and fits perfectly of course) but it's washable and reusable.

BTW - I decided to add a K&N filter (for a variety of reasons). My MPG has definitely gone up (see pic).
Has anyone else noticed this also?

Nice suggestion Homie but more than I want. I have looked at Amazon but I should continue to look. Challenge - the only space that a device could fit on the handlebar is right at the center (where it could be easily read anyway) and it's not big enough for any thermometer I've seen. Has anyone added a ambient temperature gauge? I miss having one.

What a great ride!! It reminds me a bit of my previous Silverwing but lighter, more manageable and better suspended.

UPDATE - as fate would have it (I don't believe in Luck), another Forza appeared on CL three days ago - WITH ABS. I bought it yesterday! In perfect condition with 2700 miles. I've considered the Burgman 400 (a bit bigger than I'd like), the Kymco Downtown 300i (hard to find), Majesty 400 (I drove one - comfortable but not that impressed otherwise) and the Piaggio BV 350 (not crazy about the seating position). I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say "ABS makes the rubber will last longer". Please clarify.

I recently found a 2015 Forza w/o ABS and a tall windshield with 1500 miles. The seller wants $4100. Seems that $3500 to $3700 would be a more realistic price. Still needs to have the fuel pump recall completed!

I considered the BV350 in the past but I didn't like the riding position but I've heard good things about the scoot.

Yep...I've heard about the Forza reliability issues. I wonder if the 2015 model (anyone here have one?) is any better?

Thanks for the wise input Mel. I owned a Silverwing and currently the MP3 500. Just too big and too heavy for me (5'8", 150 lbs) so I understand the Burg 400 and 650 dilemma. I just have more fun on smaller scoots anyway. Not being able to test ride scoots/motorcycles is really a drag. At least...

Oh BTW - the new 2014 Burg OTD price is $4400 and the 2015 Forza (with 1500 miles) is OTD $4200.

Have fun Dave.....I used to covet the Burg 650 but then the reality of their size and weight overwhelmed me. I'll stick to something smaller!! :-)
