Re: Fuel pump recall woes

Good luck I had this job done about a year after I bought mine new and ended up with the same result you did. I found a puddle under the scooter a couple of hours after I got home. They came and picked it up because I told them I would not ride a bike that was leaking directly under my rear tire. I ...

Re: NSS 300 Fuel Pump Recall/Replacement: Success?

I had the first recall done in 2015, I still have the bike. I got the second recall notice and have not been back yet, why?, because the first job was a nightmare. The dealer totally botched the job and I had to go back three times before they got it done right. The first time I went outside after r...

Re: ‘14 Forza intermittent starting problem

Do a check on the tightness of the battery connections, dirty electrical contacts, etc - always do the simple checks first before delving deeper in to the problem. Good advice. I had the exact symthoms you described and resolved it when I found a loose connection on my battery. May not be the probl...

Re: Forza 300 2018 Seat doesn't stay up

It's amazing that Honda is still having this problem. This part number is one that someone a while back posted as a solution to the seat coming down on the 2014 Forza, 83590-K04-932. I never replaced mine I just put up with it and use a stick. It was supposedly a higher pressure shock used on later ...

Re: Forza sub-groups?

To be honest as the owner of a early Forza if there was a sub-group that would be my go to group since that's where my interest lies. Easier for me more work for you. If you're up to it great if not I'll just continue filtering through the posts to fine what I want. Thanks for your efforts.

Re: Which Heated Grips Forza 300

There are several brands of stick on heaters that you can install over the existing bars and then slip the factory grips back over them, some with two heat settings. These are very inexpensive. I did this on my bike and they have been working great for years. Looking at my bike other than the handle...

Re: Question About the Seat Shock/Strut

I got this Honda part number 83590-K04-932 from a previous post. It is for the damper used in later models of the Forza that do not have this problem. I have not gone through the trouble of replacing mine so I can't attest to the results but the other poster said that it is a direct fit and solved t...

Re: Just bought NOS Forza 300 ABS

Thanks for posting side by side pics. I often wonder if I wouldn't have been happier buying a pcx rather than a Forza. I'd love to hear a future report on how they do side by side in different riding situations.

Re: Oil filter Wrench for new Forza 300

Don't know the size for the Honda filter but if you don't have it yet you can get a K&N KN-204 filter and use a 17mm socket or box wrench.

Re: Old vs New Forza 300

I have a 30" inseam and I think if I had any less I would not be happy at all with a Forza I feel very borderline already. I have no trouble keeping her steady at lights and so on but nudging her around while seated particularly pushing back can sometimes be a challenge. It's also the reason I ...

Re: Honda Forza Nss300 electrical problem

Start by just checking the battery connections for tightness. I had similar symptoms for a while and when it finally didn't start at all I opened the cover and simply found the connection loose. After I tightened things and I haven't had any problem for over a year. Good luck

Re: Where do you park?

I live in a pretty urban area but not a large city. I always park in a legal parking spot. I'm guessing if you're in any area where parking is metered you're a target for a ticket or tow if you're not in a parking spot. In unmetered parking lots I park as mentioned earlier closer to the aisle so I'm...

This would probably do what you want. Looks a bit pricey to me and I have no experience with it. I know someone here has used these, hopefully he'll see the post and offer some first hand knowledge.

Re: Matched set of Michelin or Pirelli tires

Thanks for the input. After a lot of searching I've found at least two places including amazon that now offer Pirelli Diablos in our size for front and rear. The rear tire was listed as a new item at a couple of sites. Amazon has it at $86, I'll probably go with a matched set of Pirellis.

Matched set of Michelin or Pirelli tires

I'm due to replace my tires within a couple of months and have been following the discussions regarding non OEM replacements. I've noticed that Pirelli Diablo and Michelin City Grips seem to be the most frequently discussed as a good option. I've used Pirellis on another bike and was very pleased wi...

Re: Forza without ABS ??

Can't comment on a non-ABS version because mine has it. However I can say that in 9k miles I have never activated it in need. I did activate the front once on wet pavement deliberately so I know it works. As noted earlier you'll only be glad when you need it. I still have the original tires and hone...

Re: Charging Capacity?

I've had Symtec hand warmers mounted for a couple of years now (36w) with no trouble at all. I have a voltmeter usb type socket in the accessory plug and do not see any change in voltage turned on or off. On cold days I even warm thee grips for a couple of minutes while gearing up before starting an...
