Re: Cheapest or Best Mod You Have Made.
Heated grip kit. Relativly easy installation, I was even able to reuse the original grip. I added a handlebar mounted switch and a relay to power them directly off the battery and only on while running. Total cost installed by me about $65. A nice addition in any climate where your hands may get chi...

Re: Cheapest or Best Mod You Have Made.
Thank you for the clarification. Agreed, probably not a good idea.iceman wrote:Taped over to disable them is was I believe is the case. In terms of insurance, if lights are fitted, at least in the UK, they must work or it's an MOT failure / police can give you points.

Re: Cheapest or Best Mod You Have Made.
Two small squares of insulating tape over the running light connectors on the dual filament indicator bulbs. Cost approximately nothing. And invalidated your insurance. So much high handed pontification and then you do this :D I'm not sure how taping over a connector, perhaps to shield it from weat...

Re: Gerbing or Venture Battery Gloves?
If you are willing to do the job yourself you could install a Symtec Motorcycle Hand Warmer Kit for about $40. Less than a the cost of electric gloves. For an additional $30 or so you could add a nicer switch and relay and fuse set for switched power to protect from discharging your battery if you f...

Re: Forza Cover
Using info I found on a sewn in tag I came up with this. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Motorcycle-Cover-Large/16817257 I do remember one day leaving it out on a rainy day on a white scooter I own and some color bled onto the scooter, it did not stay. I never washed the scooter the color just kind of fad...

Re: Forza Cover
My Forza has the tall windscreen. I bought a generic cover at Walmart that fits very well. Sorry don't have any other details on it other than its dark blue and silver.

Re: Additional Forza Issues Relating To Fuel Pump Recall?
I've wondered the same thing considering from Honda's recall notice, "A RESIN BRACKET INSIDE THE FUEL PUMP MAY SWELL AND INTERFERE WITH THE IMPELLER". It seems to me an interference problem implies that there could be wear which could result in debris which could clog the injector, not an ...

Re: Tuned / Modified Honda Forza 300 (NSS300A) From Thailand
My bike was delivered with the standard screen and I had it for about 3 weeks until the taller one was delivered. I installed it myself and have not looked back. I can't speak for the other taller screens available but can say that from my experience the taller Honda screen was a vast improvement ov...

Re: What is this?
That was a fun challenge. Since you didn't link the site first I had to use the picture to find its source. Then using Google translate I found out this "Honda Forza Si, built-in antenna for ETC cover". ETC = Electronic Toll Collection ie; EzPass. Here is a link for the site translated htt...

Re: Fitting Oxford heated grips.
I would suggest wiring the grips into the bike by way of a relay turned on by any engine on circuit (in my case the running lights) with the grips fed through the relay. This way forgetting to turn off the grips will not result in finding a dead battery when coming back to the bike.

Re: Does anyone have experience with heated grips on the For
I did get them mounted as planned. Still chilly enough in the morning here to appreciate them, just good to know I'm set for the fall. Got so involved in it this past w/e I forgot to take pictures with the front cover off. I plan on revisiting it again soon to re-run the wire from the battery to the...

Re: Know of Any TRUST worthy Honda dealerships?
Just bought a Forza at Cross Bay Honda in Bay Shore, they have a location in Howard Beach as well. I honestly think they found my caution of dealers entertaining if not a bit frustrating. In the end the deal went down exactly as offered without any surprises. The guy in charge (owner?) even made me ...

Re: Does anyone have experience with heated grips on the For
Thanks for the input I tried the two web sites and only found the grips on the one but they are the generic kind without the cable fittings. I've heard the oxford grips are good as well but I've decided to go with the retrofit type I mentioned above. I found a post in the PCX area where someone spok...

Does anyone have experience with heated grips on the Forza
Has anyone here installed heated grips on their Forza? I ride about 10 months of the year and it can get pretty chilly in NY. I had heated grips on my previous bike and found them to be the best compromise between convenience and comfort. I already have a plan in mind for installing do it yourself t...

Yes 5 positions you need a spanner wrench. I have not made the adjustment myself.
