Finally seen a PCX on the road!

Saw my first PCX this evening outside of a dealer - not many of them round many parts of North London or I've just missed them - seen lots of Visions though. One day, April-May time that will be me on a new 2014 model :)

Re: Need help to get my stolen PCX125 (UK) back on the road

Sorry to hear this. Was the bike locked up (chains, brake lock, ?) - I was planning on a grip lock, disc lock and chain it to the cars tow bar! Almost woth having some kind of camera recording everything - might at least help catch em.

Ole, I wonder what height are you and do you get any buffeting? I'm 6ft and when I get my PCX I'd like to add a rear box and screen, much like yours.

Re: Service Intervals Short?

I'll make a video. I described this on a previous thread. It provides tight clearance to do the adjustment. It is only four more screws and two bolts to remove the rear plastics and tail light. It's a preference thing to remove the battery and battery box and the side fairings. But in general it pr...

Did you mean GBP ? It is 2600 not 1600 http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/scooters/#!/pcx125/
I read that to be the Thailand equivalent in £UK's, as they are much cheaper there. One Thai site I just checked suggests 69,000 Baht which is about £1350!

Re: Torn between the SYM citycom 300 and Honda PCX

The SH was supposed to be slightly more powerful and have a higher top end than the PCX - 70+ rather than 65 ish, but now it has the new style PCX engine and weighs a bit more, that has probably changed. I used to like the dash of the older style and the small smoke effect windscreen (looks rather t...

Re: 2014 New Model PCX

Talked to a Honda rep this week at work, he wouldn't confirm or deny the US is getting the updated PCX, but I have a feeling it will be the updated version. May 5 is apparently when it will either be announced or released. Funny how tight lipped manufacturers are even with dealerships. Trying to ge...

Re: Honda start to lowering the prices on old PCX model.

2014 model is 1,600 pounds here........ I heard that prices in Thailand are often half that elsewhere - manufacturers charge what they can get away with. Even where US/UK is concerned and with a $1.5 to the £, we would pay the same figure! At least the 2014 pricing is roughly the same as the 2013 p...

Re: Honda start to lowering the prices on old PCX model.

Many dealers offering similar deals for a while, but most I checked were pre-registered but zero miles - meaning the dealer is the first owner and you will be the 2nd. Silly, as it's new and no miles, but it's how many dealers operate. Great deals though if you are happy with the older model - and m...

No, I would never consider the SH mode - was interested in the white SH - £2899 on the road and the S-Wing is still on sale at dealers - £3,999! http://www.huntsmotorcycles.co.uk/Honda_Scooters.htm

Re: Honda SH150i

Although I'm almost certainly going to get the 2014 PCX, I was otherwise going for the SHi 125 here in the UK. The most expensive of the 125 scooters Honda sell, flat floored, and as GN2 says, has the PCX engine and economy and larger under-seat storage. One thing I was concerned with regarding the ...

Re: Motorcycle Helmets

Some flip helmets do not weigh much - such as the Nolan being about 1.3KG. I've got a Box L fixed (four star rating and about £35) and a Shox L flip - both comfy and I hope will fit under the seat of the new style PCX when I can get one! If not, I'll probably be fitting a rear box at some point. The...

Good to have something like that as proof for any accidents and insurance. Do you think the paintwork will survive long term use?

Re: 2014 model ridden.....

As it's the same price and I've yet to buy, I held off a few extra months when news of the new style came out as I prefer it. Other benefits are the larger fuel tank, I thought better tyres(?), and perhaps uprated shocks? Also I read somewhere that the idke stop is better not just due to the up-rate...

UK PCX AA 2yr deal - is there a service stipulation attached

Hi. In the UK it seems a lot of the Honda scooter range inc. PCX there is a 2yr AA deal included in the purchase price. I wonder if those who own a UK PCX can advise if the AA part of the deal is valid even if only the first one or two services is carried out, or is it tied in with the 2yr service r...

Its a broken wire somewhere on the loom. I had this problem fixed under warranty so don't know a lot about it.Its something to do with the suspension going up and down and rubbing through the wire . Damn, that is depressing as I have no idea how to go about checking that :-( Can I check the current...

Re: 2014 New Model PCX

BrAtKo - you may be able to find out some of the answers from the spec sheets and mini-reviews, but one dealer is quoting £105.19 for the PCX 2013 alarm - not sure if that includes fitting or just the unit + harness. Their prices for some basic accessories seems excessive compared to prices quoted f...

Where did you get the manual from? Hoping to get the new 2014 PCX April onwards so always interested in outlets, in case the dealer says they can't order one for me.
