They do get hot, but take a while to get there.... On par heat wise with the R&G grips. The "light" Oxford grips don't heat up as quick nor seem to get as hot as the original Oxford grips i also have . That being said they are more than adequate and I much prefer heated grips to having...

The grips on the bike http://i.imgur.com/4zdvlHm.jpg Right grip, note the location of the power lead when at idle, needed to be like this in order to still clear the brake lever when throttle twisted. http://i.imgur.com/OdI8Znp.jpg Left grip wire can be at any angle you want, I had it going downward...

How-To: Install Heated Grips

As a year round biker in Scotland heated grips are a necessity for me and my PCX was treated to them today. Fitting was very easy, in fact the hardest part was getting the old grips off! Even with no experience I doubt it would take you more than an hour from start to finish. To install heated grips...
