WhiteNoise

Thanks for the useful info about the Shad boxes. I'll definitely give those serious consideration.

As usual, WhiteNoise, your comments / responses were helpful and positive......much appreciated !! That's
what this forum is really about.

Top box: Givi B37 or B47 ?

I was looking for a Givi top box for my 2015 PCX150 on the Tour and Ride website. Now, I'm trying to decide which would be the best choice: The B37 (37 liters) or the B47 (47 liters). The B47 might be more practical (more capacity), but is it really too big for the the PCX150 ? If any of you have us...

Re: Availability of Givi D1130ST

Thanks. I checked Competition Accessories. They don't have them for the 2015
PCX, and they didn't know whether they will even be getting them. The rep
that I talked to said "We don't do much scooter business".

Thanks again, though.

Re: Availability of Givi D1130ST

Tour and Ride had several D1130ST windshields in stock a couple of weeks ago. I decided to wait a couple of days before ordering one. When I finally called to place an order, they had already sold all of them ! I placed an order anyway with Tour and Ride. They said that I would be first in line to g...

Re: Handlebar bags

Here's the handlebar bag that I use on my PCX150.....very handy, looks like it was
made for the PCX. I bought mine in my local Wal Mart store's bicycle department.

Re: Givi D1136ST Windshield for 2015 PCX150

For Info:

The Givi D1130ST should be available in the US within the next couple of months. It is several inches taller than
the D1136ST. The D1130ST has been available in several other countries for a while.

I plan to wait for the D1130ST. It looks like a good design.

Re: Givi D1130ST Tall Windscreen US Availability For 2015 PC

Thanks for the feedback, fun2scoot. I've heard mixed opinions about the 1136 windscreen. Some love it, but some people say that it directs a wind blast onto the rider's neck and helmet. I suspect that it might work best for short riders, but that's just a guess. Windscreens can be a personal sort of...

Givi D1130ST Tall Windscreen US Availability For 2015 PCX

Here's an update of the US availability of the Givi D1130ST tall windscreen for the 2015 PCX150 (as of today): " The D1130ST has only just completed its production phase…which means we should see them here in the US in roughly 8 to 10 weeks. Thank you for inquiring about GIVI Motorcycle Accesso...

Re: Experimental report of a trip through Thailand

You You, What an absolute asshole you are. It sure seemed like combat to me. During one eleven day campaign, we had 15 B-52s shot down. One of those B-52 crew members who was killed had been my college room mate. He had just married a Thai girl a few days before he was killed. I suspect that a lot o...

Re: Experimental report of a trip through Thailand

Hi, FritzPinguin I've followed your travels throughout Thailand with great interest. I was stationed in Thailand for six months during 1971, flying fifty B-52 combat missions from Sattahip, Thailand into North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. I heard that the base at Sattahip is now occupi...

Re: Handle bar bag

WhiteNoise, I rode conventional (crotch killer) bicycles for 18 years. Then, I found out about recumbent bicycles, which are both fast and comfortable. My two most recent bikes were built for me by Easy Racers company in California. My Titanium Javelin recumbent is the best bike I've ever owned. It ...

Re: Givi T-492 Easy Large Saddlebags

Hi, FromMototoScooter Is the mounting system for the lower part of the bags a good design for use on the 2015 PCX150 ? In other words, are the bags securely attached so that the bags can't contact the exhaust system or moving parts,,,,or flop around at all when running at 60 mph or so ? Now that you...

Re: PCX 150 speed increase options

Valiant, I laughed when I read your comment about the stiff clutch on the Ducati. I agree. After I bought the Ducati, I complained to the dealer that the clutch was very stiff. His comment: " It's a man's bike. Your hand will get stronger." . He was right. My hand did get stronger. But the...

Re: PCX 150 speed increase options

I rode motorcycles for many years. The PCX150 is my first scooter. At present, I'm inclined to leave it stock, as it appears that most of the mods provide relatively small gains in speed. If it appears that the PCX just seems too slow, I'll probably just "upgrade" to a Forza or other more ...

Re: Givi T-492 Easy Large Saddlebags

Thanks for the info and pictures, FromMotoToScooter. I had been thinking seriously about buying a top box, with some reservations. Having a box positioned so high and so far rearward always looked strange to me.....and putting very much weight in one could adversely affect handling....or so it would...

Re: Buying a 2015 pcx150

You might want to shop around a bit more for a better price. I got my new 2015 PCX150 in Columbia, SC for $ 3,595 OTD. I also bought a 5 year warranty, which bumped the OTD price to $ 3,870. If there are other Honda dealers in your region, you could simply e-mail several of them and ask for their BE...
