Re: Top Case Recommendation & underseat space?

I started a thread about which helmets will or will not fit under the seat a while back. Run a search on it. The riding position is fairly upright as opposed to some bicycles, so I would try the backpack a few times before you write the idea off. Take your helmet to the dealership and try it out (if...

Re: Today's Quick Pic

Here are a few pics we took yesterday, it turned out to be a successful drive/shooting trip! Sadly, we were on 4 wheels, not two, as I was on call and can't hear the pager/phone on my bike.

Re: Locked my keys in my car...

I had a good one. We have a Silverado truck, power locks. Last summer, we were out for a drive with Belle, our little fuzz face shih tzu. We stopped to get gas, husband pumped, and I took the debit card into the store to pay. Well, the dog was hopping all over the truck, excited to see the other peo...

Re: So, I dropped my bike. A cautionary tale.

Well when I broke my foot I was at the BRC. I did it before we started the testing otherwise it would have been an automatic fail. I thought it was just a sprang so I iced it and laced up my boots tight and took the test. I did end up failing the driving part of the test by 4 points. If I had took ...

Re: A good thought for our PCX friends in Thailand

It's good to get some perspective from people who are actually there. I have a couple friends teaching English in BKK, have been there prob 7-10 yrs. One had ppl killed right outside her apartment, she's a bit freaked out, but is laying low and taking it easy. I hear the military has pulled all the ...

Re: So what its the trick to getting the battery door open?

Word to the wise...be careful not to drop your battery terminal bolts/screws down into the guts of the bike when reinstalling the battery. My '13 has strategically placed holes that suck stray fasteners into the void. I fished it out from inside the panel in the bottom with a magnet on a long goosen...

Re: Bar risers and mirror extenders

. If my picture comes out, the mirror, item 24, and the opposite side mirror are both 10mm left hand threads . Item 30, the locking nut, is left hand thread . . The adapter, item 27, is left hand thread on top, and right hand thread on bottom . . I have a 2013 PCX150 bought in US. I have no idea if...

So, I dropped my bike. A cautionary tale.

Yes, I dropped it (2013 PCX 150). How did it happen, you may ask? I got back from the first ride of the season, a lovely sunny day. I zipped up the driveway, turned off the bike and kicked down the side stand. I proceeded to get off and lean the bike on the stand. It leaned, and leaned and leaned. I...

Re: Video Review of the 2015 PCX

I'm not a hump hater, but that seat looks really nice. The addition of the 12V plug is a great touch (I'm adding one to mine), and also sad about the crappy North American colour selection, again. Great review!

Re: Bar risers and mirror extenders

Speaking of mirrors/mirror extenders (have some extenders on my bike), I find that one of my mirrors is constantly working loose, even before installing my extenders. I'm reluctant to use thread locker on it, does anyone have a suggestion? Lock washers, maybe? Vodoo? Swearing and spousal interventi...
