I like the Shoei Air GT too, it's quite expensive though, a good middle range is the Nolan.. All about compromise especially with a scoot :p

You can never skimp out on your gloves... Those are the most important thing to protect you with when you fall or eat it. I like having gauntlet gloves just for the added protection.. I reused mine too. Sometimes you just wanna grease it up a little bit so theres a solid connection. One time I didn't do that and it had a little bit of a leak going on..

Was the warranty work that significant? I haven't heard of any major problems with our bikes so far... I can't imagine what would have to go wrong for it to lemon :O

How often does a Rolex need a service then? Depends. Some of the old oyster precisions can run for decades without any maintenance Doesn't stop the manufacturer recommending regular services. You'd get a shock at the prices. Noone ever really drops their rolex off every year for thousand dollar ser...

Not bad. A old phone is definitely a good GPS.
Honestly, I use my iphone 5 if I need to get anywhere. It's pretty much the same thing tome.
