Re: Average fuel consumption

Due to the whole attendant-thing, you aren't able to fill it to the exact same height everytime, that I understand. I assume you do get the volume of gas that is put into it, though. If so, just use that, and after a few fill-ups you'll start getting a good average. It'll probably vary a lot more pe...

This seems to be a cover tailored to the EU rear end, indeed. In the stock EU setup, these covers are black plastic

Re: What type of Engine coolant is there for the Honda Pcx 1

Absolutely. Recently bought some coolant to top up my pcx, and had no clue this could be an issue. Since my 12k km service is coming up, I'll ask the dealer whether that would be an issue...

Re: new on your forum

Welcome to hondapcx.com Great pics. I love the colour and the accessories. I think a custom seat would look fantastic on it to go along with everything else that has been added to it. I noticed the clock below the speedometer. Is that a custom instrument panel, or is it unique to the European model...

And technically, not even that much of a cage.

On-topic: my wonderful cage will soon be sold. I'll give it a wash (the first one in two years ownership) before I sell it, and then take a picture to put here :-P

Re: Got new Pirellis on my PCX150 ...

Our dealer here, McKinney honda of ruston, is just an extreme ripoff. Wanted to charge me 75 for an oil change: "If all you want is an oil change, its 1/2 hr labor, $37.50 + parts + tax=about $75, if you want the 600 mile service, there is more to it and its different for each individual bike....

So in practice do you turn the feature off?
Only when I know I'll be taking off a few seconds after stopping. Or if I just filtered and I really need to be off the mark the second the lights turn green.

Re: d322st windshield-fitting vid

I had the same dilemma Dustin. I heard lots of good of reviews of the shorter Givi. Tried it, and only appreciated how good a taller screen might be when i dipped my head below the short screen whilst riding. Everything was suddenly so much calmer, quiet and less cold. Hence, i decided to go for th...

Re: What is the range on the PCX?

If I'm not mistaken, I once managed 265 km between fill-ups, and I constantly do somewhere between 210 and 230 km per tank. This is on a 2012 125.

Re: Reupholstering My PCX Seat In Alcantara

Last weekend I spent some time reworking the plastic base of the seat, so the protruding bits on which the hump was bolted, were away. Now it's in the upholstery shop... And I'm looking forward to seeing the result. I'll post some pictures of the plastic work and the end result later on!

I would like to have had it for lane splitting on the highway... Okay, the high beam works as well, but flashing orange lights might just catch your attention if you see them blinking in the corner of your eye, more than another white light in the traffic jam does.

Re: Love my PCX

I have been riding my 2011 PCX since January this year and have clocked up nearly 10 000km as I bought it as an alternate to my car due to rising fuel prices. I commute to work five days a week a 25km each way drive. I have gone from spending nearly $50 a week on fuel to just $9 which so far means ...

Its also good that the PCX only requires regular 87 octane, the Fly 50 requires premium. I'm fairly conservative when I ride hardly ever used more than 1/2 throttle Wow.. Minimum you can get here in Belgium is 95 octane... Premium is 98. I'll soon fill in my gas data in Fuelly, but seeing as I ride...
