Re: Can't remove oil screen bolt

I just used a craftsman socket and ratchet. kinda pushed the cable out of the way a little and with a bit of effort got the plug off. I'm likely never to remove it again as there was nothing on the screen.

Re: What Did You Do To Your PCX This Week?

Changed the oil. Shell Rotella T5 10w30. Checked the filter screen for the first time as well, just a small piece of metal was about all I found in it.
When I changed the oil on my old piaggio there was all kinds of junk in the oil, paint chips mostly.. And lint.

First service done.

The valves were a bit tight, more than .03mm, but they still had some clearance. It sure is not all to easy. If a dealer is charging less than $150 (US) for the first service there is no way they are actually pulling the valve cover! I found there was no need to remove some of the parts that were sh...

Re: Side view mirrors made of plastic?

I mean.. They could be glass I haven't tried to scratch or beak them, but I was thinking that while I was trying to clean them and they were more difficult to clean than any glass I know of.

Re: Anyone in the US using an aftermarket exhaust for the 15

I can notice a bit sound difference. Has more of a bass deep throaty sound if they makes sense is that rubber intake tube just a extension? or is there a restrictor in it? as long as there is no restrictor in it, the bike would have more mid range and low end power in theory due to the longer intak...

Re: The Wheels on a Scoot Go Round and Round...

You should take a PCX out for a drive and give us your thoughts comparing it to the Vespa. I do have a Piaggio fly 50 witch is similar to a Vespa. We do have bad roads here in Hawaii. I try to avoid the pot holes with ether bike, the Piaggio is a bit more... nimble and, can change direction. The PCX...
