Re: GOPRO for the Forza

Oh, and by the way, regarding jitter: the frame-rate is so high on the Hero3 that jitter, even in that high of a location, is not bad. The frame above was NOT captured sitting still; it was in the middle of a long straight, and I had cranked the bike up to somewhere between 55 and '35' mph. (One Bur...

Re: GOPRO for the Forza

blackcat54- I will...once the scenery comes back. Right now you can get the same effect by opening your freezer and filming it. Just like being here...! iceman- I suspect yes, the paintwork will survive. The vacuum is generated by a very soft pliable silicone rubber/plastic type of cup, low profile....

GOPRO for the Forza

I have wanted a GoPro, but from some of the posted videos taken from the cab of the Forza, wasn't sure how to mount it to provide a good enough field of view to make it worthwhile. Amazingly, I ran across a YouTube video that showed how to attach one to a PCX. His results were excellent...and I thou...

Re: Louisiana first snowfall

How am I a squid on a crotch rocket? I'm driving legally and with courtesy and these moron truckers can keep from tailgating. You can't defend stupidity. Sorry but you can't Maybe I didn't read that right, but I kinda read that not as an inference to you, but as a reference to not making excuses fo...

I hope it wasn't a roll-bar, they might not have gotten the concept right.. ;)

Spanner Wrench for rear shocks

First of all, thanks for the posts of the parts list, etc. One thing I notice is that the tool kit parts-list contains a lot of tools that I didn't get. Most I don't really care about, I have dups from other older Honda tool kits, but the spanner and handle are needed. I have searched the Web and fo...

Re: Forza as a Do It All?

Agree to all. If the bike physically fits, in that you have ample leg room, then the bike won't disappoint. And as Trevster showed, even that can be mitigated. I only have two thousand miles, as the weather closed in and snow has been around since Dec., so I haven't had much saddle time recently. I ...

Re: Do you think the fairings will help?

Hey MichRocks, How's it goin' eh? Did you recognize the accent? What a brutal winter here for us. It' my fault. If I had bought a snow mobile instead of a bike it probably wouldn't have snowed at all. LOL One of the things I love most about we "Scootari" is the way we personalize our scoo...

Re: Do you think the fairings will help?

I really don't mind the snow, but yea, the ice, well, it really sucks. And it really puts down the power lines. I was in Maine when the big one came through Maine and Canada in 1998. Large metal power towers in twisted agony all over the landscape. The double whammy; cold inside, cold out. Forget ri...

Re: Do you think the fairings will help?

It's getting better, eh?. (Trying to relate!! : D ) Yes!!! Temp zoomed up to 4.4C for much of the day!!! I now have a .6m x .6m black square of blacktop showing through the ice on one corner of my driveway. Enough room to 1) do a wheelie (if the bike could, which it can't), or 2) drop the side-stand...
